First Post!!

I've been meaning to start blogging for awhile, and I've decided finally to suppress my perfectionist tendencies and just get something started. I will mostly be relaying pieces that I read/see/hear that impress me with minimal comments, and will also post occasional original content giving my thoughts on whatever topic I happen to be thinking about at that time. I have no pretensions that I currently have expert knowledge to add to the public discourse. My blog posts, then, will steal liberally from people whom I consider to be such.
