This is absolutely a fantastic point to make. I would never wish what John McCain went through on anybody, and yet he apparently would. Our country has blemished itself to an incredible degree by allowing torture, or, "enhanced interrogation" to happen. It DOESN'T MAKE OUR COUNTRY MORE SECURE, it just creates more enemies for us, and it's a HUGE civil liberties and freedom transgression.
I thought the US of A was a freedom-loving country, but in the past 8 years we have allowed more freedom-limiting policies to be practiced than ever before. Ridiculous
